Children's Ministries

Children are the heart and soul of a growing and vibrant church. Here at First Assembly of God we offer various ministries that are geared for the children that attend our church. On Sundays we have a staffed nursery for those that are the youngest among us. We also offer age appropriate Sunday School with teachers that care about the spiritual and social interests of their students. Complementing the 10:30 a.m. worship service are two age-appropriate children's church services as well as a separate nursery to meet the needs and handle the characteristics of any child from new-born to sixth grade. Those children that are ages 3 through 6th grade stay with their parents during the song service and are then dismissed to go downstairs to their Children's Church rooms. From September through April we offer Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) JBQ is a college bowl type contest in which question are asked and then answered by the students. It is a great discipleship tool that provides great dividends later in life. This program is open to children in 1st through 6th grade and is held on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. On Wednesday nights we offer Royal Rangers for boys ages 3 through 5th grade and Missionettes for girls ages 3 through 5th grade. It is a great time of fun, games and getting to know God. For those that have no other way of getting to our facilities we offer a bus that will come and pick up and drop off students.
