Pastor Kenneth Curtis was born on November 6th, 1984 in Fortuna, California to John and Lorraine Curtis.  He has two siblings, an older brother (29)  and a younger sister (23).  He lived in California for 7 years before his family decided to move to North Dakota where his Dad, John Curtis, is originally from.  After living 7 years in Hannaford, ND he moved to Valley City ND, all the while having attended the Assembly of God church in Dazey, ND, where God changed his life at the age of 12.  He was very involved with the youth group in Dazey and attended youth camp in Devils Lake, ND, where at the age of 14 God called him into youth ministry.  In 2003, he took the next steps in life when he attended Trinity Bible College, to prepare for Ministry.  In 2007, he graduated with a BA in Bible Concentration and Pastoral Ministry with Youth Emphasis.  In June of 2007 He took the role of part-time Youth Pastor in Dazey, ND and ministered there for 4 years.  In June of 2011 he was led to step down from the Youth Pastor position, and a few months later was asked to take the Interim position at Jamestown First Assembly.
