Pastor Jeff & Tamra Wiedenmeyer
Pastor Jeff has been in the ministry for 35 years. He began his ministry as a youth pastor, next pioneered a new church during the Decade of Harvest; served as an Executive Pastor and then as Senior Pastor.
His ministry objective is to model a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled lifestyle to people, care for the lost and hurting by sharing the good news in a practical and culturally relevant manner and train & equip others to do the same. He has been described as caring, motivating, passionate, practical and with a strong desire to see the lost and burdened receive Jesus Christ as the leader of their lives. His is a ministry of grace-based character development.
Pastor Jeff is a graduate of Northwest University in Kirkland, WA, has been married to his wife Tamra for 32 years. They have two sons and a daughter; Joshua is a Youth Pastor at Mount Rainer Christian Center in Enumclaw, WA. Nathaniel is an Mechanical Engineer at Collins Aerospace. Their daughter Annika is a Senior at Trinity Bible College preparing for ministry with an emphasis in music.
Tamra has been a co-laborer with Pastor Jeff in their years of ministry. She has been very active in Women’s Ministry and has served at the District level. She started and organized a nursery & preschool department and mentored the MPact Girls Team. Tamra has led worship teams and done both vocal and instrumental specials as well as organizing the Children’s Christmas musical, which have been performed both in the church and community. She has been an integral part of the ministry. She also is an Ordained Ministry with the Assemblies of God and just recently became part of the office staff of Jamestown First Assembly. She is the Women’s Ministry Pastor at Jamestown First Assembly.
Additional personal note: Pastor Jeff has North Dakota roots, his father grew up in Zap, ND and his mother was raised in Beulah, ND. He has Aunts and Uncles and cousins scattered all over the state.
