Pastor Jeff has been in the ministry for 40 years. He began his ministry as a youth pastor, next pioneered a new church during the Decade of Harvest; served as an Executive Pastor and then as Senior Pastor. His ministry objective is to model a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled lifestyle to people, care for the lost and hurting by sharing the good news in a practical and culturally relevant manner and train and equip others to do the same. He has been described as caring, motivating, passionate, practical and with a strong desire to see the lost and burdened receive Jesus Christ as the leader of their lives. His is a ministry of grace-based character development.
Pastor Jeff is a graduate of Northwest University in Kirkland, WA, has been married to his wife Tamra for 38 years. They have two sons and a daughter; Joshua is a Youth Pastor in Phoenix, AZ. Nathaniel is a Mechanical Engineer in Couder ‘alene, ID. Their daughter Annika is a Music Pastor in the Portland, OR.
Tamra who is also an Ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, has been a co-laborer with Pastor Jeff in their years of ministry. She has been very active in Women’s Ministry and has served at the Network level. Tamra has led worship teams and done both vocal and instrumental mentoring. She has led women empowerment mission’s trips overseas. She has been an integral part of the ministry. She also serves as the office manager for the staff of Jamestown First Assembly. She is the Women’s Ministry pastor at Jamestown First Assembly.
Additional personal note: Pastor Jeff has North Dakota roots, his father grew up in Zap, ND and his mother was raised in Beulah, ND. He has Aunts and Uncles and cousins scattered all over the state.
